Energy Carousel

The interactive exhibit on power and electricity units is designed to elucidate various energy generation methods and their comparative efficacy. Housed within a circular space with a 3-meter diameter, the exhibit features four experiment stations around its perimeter, each showcasing a distinct energy generation technique. A central attraction is a large working model of an old-fashioned Merry-Go-Round, complete with moving figures, lights, and music. Visitors engage with each station, contributing to the carousel's operation. LED lights near each station indicate their activity, while accompanying descriptions detail the featured energy production method, alongside graphics and data on the largest installations of each kind worldwide.

Visitors can:
1. use a vertical hand crank to showcase human muscle power, activating the carousel at a fraction of its full speed,
2. activate a photovoltaic panel with a torch, demonstrating solar energy conversion,
3. pump liquid onto a small water wheel to simulate hydropower generation,
4. direct airflow to a small wind turbine to represent wind energy conversion.
